Doctorate in Biosciences and Biotechnology in Health, Aggeu Magalhães Research Center (CPqAM / FIOCRUZ-PE). Master in Cellular and Molecular Biology Applied by the University of Pernambuco (2017). Works with Immunology, Cellular / Molecular Biology and Genetics, with emphasis on Human and Medical Genetics, Genetics of Viruses and Immunogenetics. Has a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor) from the University of Pernambuco (2015). Currently affiliated to the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Viruses - LBMV / ICB / FCM / UPE and the Laboratory of Virology and Experimental Therapy - LaVITE / FIOCRUZ-PE. Member of the research groups of Biochemistry of Macromolecules and Gastrohepatology. Acting mainly on the following topics: cellular and molecular immune response in viral infections, Genetic polymorphisms, Gene expression, Transcriptoma, miRNA expression, Next sequencing generation, Oxidative Stress, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Complement System,, Bioinformatics, Dengue and Hepatitis C.

Pós-Doutorado em Biociências pelo Instituto Aggeu Magalhães (IAM/FIOCRUZ-PE). Doutor em Biociências e Biotecnologia em Saúde pelo Instituto Aggeu Magalhães (IAM/FIOCRUZ-PE). Mestre em Biologia Celular e Molecular Aplicada pela Universidade de Pernambuco (2017). Graduado em Ciências Biológicas (Bacharelado) pela Universidade de Pernambuco (2015).Tem experiência nas áreas de Imunologia, Biologia Celular/Molecular e Genética, com ênfase em Genética Humana e Médica, Genética de Vírus e Imunogenética. Atualmente afiliado ao Laboratório de Biologia Molecular de Vírus - LBMV/ICB/FCM/UPE e ao Laboratório de Virologia e Terapia Experimental - LaVITE/FIOCRUZ-PE. É membro dos grupos de pesquisa de Bioquímica de Macromoléculas e de Gastrohepatologia e bioinformática aplicada à analise de patógenos. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: resposta imune celular e molecular em infecções virais, Polimorfismos genéticos, Expressão gênica, miRNA, Sequenciamento de nova geração, Transcriptoma, Stress Oxidativo, Carcinoma Hepatocelular, Sistema complemento, Bioinformática, Dengue e Hepatite C. Também é membro da Rede de Vigilância Genômica Fiocruz (http://www.genomahcov.fiocruz.br) que atua no sequenciamento e identificação de variantes de SARS-CoV-2 no Brasil.
