Fabrício da Costa Alhadas Cavalcanti

Doutorando em Media Artes pela Universidade da Beira Interior. Mestre em Estudos Contemporâneos das Artes - Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF/ 2007-2009, Niterói - RJ. Pós-Graduação em Artes Plásticas e Contemporaneidade - Escola Guignard - UEMG / 2004-2006, Belo Horizonte - MG. Bacharel em Artes Plásticas (habilitação em fotografia e escultura) - Escola Guignard - UEMG / 1998-2001, Belo Horizonte - MG. Fotógrafo desde 1998, vem atuando no ensino, realização e produção na campo das artes visuais com ênfase em produção cultural, ensino de arte e realização de oficinas.Desde 1998 desenvolve pesquisa em Arqueologia Urbana. Entre 2008 e 2014 foi professor na escola de fotografia Ateliê da Imagem (RJ). Atualmente é professor colaborador na Universidade da Beira Interior, Covilhã, no curso de Comunicação e no curso de Cinema. Leciona também no Instituo de Arte e Design - IADE, da Universidade Européia em Lisboa.Sou professor no campo da arte, fotografia e cultura contemporânea, bem como fotógrafo de obras de arte e artista visual.Neste momento sou membro do grupo de estudos LabCom como doutorando da Universidade da Beira Interior, na Covilhã. No meu doutorado, investigo conexões entre a Arqueologia Urbana do Passado Contemporâneo, através da prática da Realidade Aumentada e Virtual como meio de estudar os destroços da Cultura Pós-Moderna e Contemporânea na Era Digital.

Photographer since 1998, he has been teaching, performing and producing in the field of visual arts with emphasis on cultural production, art teaching and workshops. Since 1998 he has developed research in Urban Archeology. Since 2008 he has been a professor at the Ateliê da Imagem (RJ) photography school. Since 2007, he has been a member of the Filé de Peixe Collective.I am a teacher in the broad field of art, Photography and Contemporary Culture, as well as a Fine Art Photographer and Visual Artist.At this moment I am a member of LabCom study group as a PhD student of the University of the Beira Interior, at Covilhã. On my PhD, I investigate connections between Urban Archaeology of the Contemporary Past, through the practice of Augmented and Virtual Reality as a means of studying the debris of Post Modern and Contemporary Culture in the Digital Era.
