Lívia Prates Soares Zerbinati

Dr. Lívia Prates holds a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Bahia (2002), is a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology and a Master's in Dentistry in the area of ​​Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul ( 2005), completed the Doctorate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology by the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2011). Since 2020 she is also a Specialist in Implantodonty by the Bahiana Foundation for the Development of Sciences. Worked since 2002 as a professor of the disciplines Oral Anatomy, General Physiology, Surgical Propedeutics 1 and 2, Surgery 1, Surgery 2 and Surgery 3, in the following schools of Dentistry: Universidade Federal da Bahia, União Metropolitana de Educação (UNIME), Escola Bahiana de Medicine and Public Health (EBMSP). She was preceptor and vice-coordinator of the Residency and Specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology based at the Roberto Santos General Hospital and EBMSP for 10 years. She worked as a professor and advisor for the Masters in Dentistry at EBMSP. She participated as an on-call worker, since 2016, at SAMU 192 during an event with multiple victims (CARNAVAL-SSA / BA) in the treatment of the injured and traumatized. She is currently Coordinator of the Oral Surgery Improvement Course at NEOBA. Professor of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics - NEOBA/IPEO, responsible for the chairs of Orthognathic Surgery and Head and Neck Anatomy. She is part of the clinical staff of Hospital Português da Bahia / SSA-BA and Hospital Santo Amaro / SSA-BA; in addition to being registered as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in several hospitals in Bahia. CEO and founding partner of ICON (Institute of Orthognathic Surgery of the Northeast).

Dra. Lívia Prates possui graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2002), é Especialista em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Facial e Mestre em Odontologia na área de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo Facial pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2005), concluiu o Doutorado em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Facial pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Odontologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2011). Desde 2020 é também Especialista em Implantodontia pela Fundação Bahiana para Desenvolvimento das Ciências. Atuou desde 2002 como professora das disciplinas Anatomia bucal, Fisiologia geral, Propedêutica cirúrgica 1 e 2, Cirurgia 1, Cirurgia 2 e Cirurgia 3, nas seguintes escolas de Odontologia: Universidade Federal da Bahia, União Metropolitana de Educação (UNIME), Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP). Foi preceptora e vice-coordenadora da Residência e da Especialização em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofacial sediada no Hospital Geral Roberto Santos e EBMSP durante 10 anos. Atuou como professora e orientadora do Mestrado em Odontologia da EBMSP. Participou como plantonista, desde 2016, no SAMU durante evento com múltipla vítimas (CARNAVAL - SSA/BA) no tratamento dos feridos e traumatizados.. Foi Coordenadora do Curso de Aperfeiçoamento em Cirurgia Bucal pelo NEOBA. Professora do curso de Especialização em Ortodontia - NEOBA/IPEO, responsável pelas cadeiras de Cirurgia Ortognática e Anatomia Cabeça e Pescoço. Faz parte do corpo clínico do Hospital Português da Bahia/ SSA-BA e Hospital Santo Amaro/SSA-BA ; além de ser cadastrada como cirurgiã bucomaxilofacial em diversos hospitais da Bahia. Hoje coordena o curso de Aperfeiçoamento em Cirurgia oral menor no Instituto Peres- GO, Corpo docente dos cursos de Ortodontia - Instituto Peres. Corpo clínico do Hospital do Coração de Goiás, Hospital Jacob Facuri e HUGOL. ; além de ser cadastrada como cirurgiã bucomaxilofacial em diversos hospitais de Goiânia. CEO e sócia fundadora do ICON (Instituto de Cirurgia Ortognatica do Nordeste) e do MIT (Maxillofacial International Team).
