Andreone Teles Medrado

Doutorande em Psicologia, pela Universidade de São Paulo (Instituto de Psicologia, Dpto. de Psicologia Experimental); Graduande de Psicologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (Instituto de Psicologia da USP); Mestre em Ciências, com ênfase em fisiologia neuroendócrina (2015); possui Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas (Centro Universitário FIEO) (2012). No mestrado estudou aspectos de fisiologia comparada da reprodução, bem como neuroendocrinonologia comprada em vertebrados: trabalhou principalmente na área da fisiologia reprodutiva, estudando a possível influência da temperatura na migração de neurônios do hormônio liberador de gonadotrofina (GnRH) e nas funções cerebrais, além de neuroanatomia, como o estudo citoarquitetônico dos núcleos encefálicos. No Doutorado estuda a influência do nojo na atratividade sexual humana, incluindo temas como sociossexualidade e orientação sexual. Paralelamente estuda relacionamentos não monogâmicos, pela perspectivas das Ciências Sociais e Humanas, bem como Gênero, Sexualidade e Relacionamentos Interraciais.

PhD student in Psychology, University of São Paulo (Institute of Psychology, Department of Experimental Psychology); Graduating in Psychology at the University of São Paulo (Institute of Psychology at USP); Master of Science, with an emphasis on neuroendocrine physiology (2015); holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Degree in Biological Sciences (Centro Universitário FIEO) (2012). In the master's degree he studied aspects of comparative physiology of reproduction, as well as neuroendocrinonology purchased in vertebrates: he worked mainly in the area of reproductive physiology, studying the possible influence of temperature on the migration of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons and brain functions, in addition to neuroanatomy, such as the cytoarchitectonic study of brain nuclei. In the Doctorate he studies the psychosexual aspects of different sexual orientations, in the large area of Human Ethology, within Evolutionary Psychology. In PhD, Andreone studies the influence of disgust on human sexual attractiveness, including topics such as sociosexuality and sexual orientation. At the same time, Andreone studies non-monogamous relationships, from the perspectives of Social and Human Sciences, as well as Gender, Sexuality and Interracial Relationships.
