Cido Rossi is graduated in Language and Literature (major in Portuguese and English), master and PhD in Literary Studies by UNESP - Araraquara/SP - Brazil. He is professor of British Literature at UNESP - Araraquara, where he works in the undergraduation course of Language and Literature and in the Post-graduation program in Literary Studies. He also works in the Post-graduation program in Literature Studies at UFSCar - São Carlos/SP - Brazil. He develops researches on the Gothic, Fantastic, and Fantasy manifestations in fiction through the lenses of Derridean Deconstruction and Freudian-Jungian Psichoanalysis. He is leader of the research group Dimensions of the Fantastic in Literature, and member of the research groups Gothic Studies and We from Uncanny.
Cido Rossi é graduado em Letras (Português/Inglês), mestre e doutor em Estudos Literários pela UNESP - Araraquara/SP. Atua no curso de Letras da UNESP - Araraquara, no qual é professor de Literatura Inglesa; no Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos Literários da mesma instituição, no qual é professor permanente; e no Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos de Literatura da UFSCar - São Carlos/SP, no qual é professor colaborador. Desenvolve pesquisas sobre as Manifestações do Gótico, do Fantástico e da Fantasia na ficção por meio das perspectivas da Desconstrução derridiana e da Psicanálise freudiana-junguiana. É líder do grupo de pesquisa (CNPq/UNESP) Vertentes do Fantástico na Literatura e membro dos grupos de pesquisa (CNPq/UERJ) Estudos do Gótico e Nós do Insólito. É pesquisador Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq (processo: 311165/2021-4).
