Bernadette von Atzingen Santos Cardoso

Graduou-se em Fonoaudiologia pela Universidade Católica de Campinas/SP em 1982. Realizou o mestrado profissional em Speech Language Pathology na The Universtiy of IOWA-EUA em 1992-1994 e o doutorado em Lingüística na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais em 2003. Especialista em Linguagem (2004), atua clinicamente na maioria dos distúrbios da Comunicação desde que se graduou em Fonoaudiologia. É pesquisadora associada junto ao Laboratório de Fonética-UFMG, tendo como área principal de interesse a prosódia na fala de indivíduos portadores de distúrbios tais como a apraxia da fala e a gagueira.

Undergraduation in Speech Language Pathology at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1982), Master degree in Speech Pathology at The University Of Iowa (1994) and Ph.d. in Linguistics at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2003). Especialist in Language, she has being working as a speech therapist since she has graduated. Associated reseacher at the Laboratório de Fonética-UFMG, she has the main area of interest the speech prosody, specially concerning the altered speech such as the sttutering and the apraxia of speech.
