Rodrigo Lins Rodrigues

Doctor and Master in Computer Science at (Cin/UFPE), Graduated in Degree in Computer Science, Graduated in Bachelor in Statistics and Lato Sensu Specialization in Technologies in Education. He is a professor and researcher at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) where he teaches subjects related to the teaching of computing. He is Coordinator / Leader of the Laboratory of Analytical Evidence in Educational Technologies-EVANTE (http://evante.com.br). Permanent Member of the Graduate Program in Technology and Management in Distance Education (PPGTEG/UFRPE) and the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching (PPGEC/UFRPE). He is an Organizing Member of the Educational Data Science Workshop (WCDE / SBC). Reviewer of the Brazilian Journal of Informatics in Education (RBIE/SBC) and of the IEEE Latin America Transaction Journal. In 2019/2020 he was a member of the editorial committee of the Special Session of the British Journal of Educational Technology with the theme Applications of Learning Analytics in Latin America. In 2017, he participated in the CTD-IE-Contest of TCC, Dissertations and Theses of the VI Brazilian Congress on Informatics in Education (CBIE 2017), taking second place as the best doctoral thesis in the field of Informatics in Education. In 2021 he won the award for best full paper article at the XX Brazilian Symposium on Digital Games and Entertainment-SBGames2021. Areas of research interest: Data Science, Educational Data Mining (EDM), Learning Analytics (LA) and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).

É professor e pesquisador da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE) onde ministra disciplinas relacionadas ao ensino da computação. Atualmente é pesquisador associado na Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) no Centro de Integração de Dados e Conhecimentos para Saúde (Cidacs/BA) na área de Estatística e Ciência de Dados. Membro Permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Tecnologia e Gestão em Educação a Distância (PPGTEG/UFRPE) e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ensino das Ciências e Matemática (PPGEC/UFRPE). Revisor da Revista Brasileira de Informática na Educação (RBIE/SBC) e da Revista IEEE Latin America Transaction.
