Mariana Martins Juras

Mariana Juras, MS, Ph.D. is currently a Visiting Research Scholar at the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Her degrees are Master of Science and Doctoral in Clinical Psychology from the University of Brasilia, Brazil, and Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Pontific Catholic University of Goias, Brazil. She has experience as a Professor in Higher Education programs related to Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a clinical psychologist in the Brazilian Court System, providing direct services to families facing divorce, domestic violence, children maltreatment, and substance abuse. Mentoring and conducting research projects are also an important part of her experience. She has published six scientific papers as first author and some of her research interests includes divorce, domestic violence, gender, social justice, social network analysis, and group interventions.
Psicóloga pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB), Mestre e Doutora em Psicologia Clínica e Cultura pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB) e especialista em Terapia Familiar e de Casais pelo Interpsi/Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (PUC-GO). Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia Conjugal e Familiar e Psicologia Jurídica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: psicologia jurídica, divórcio destrutivo, papéis parentais e conjugais, síndrome de alienação parental e violência doméstica e familiar contra mulheres.
