Sergio Godoy

He is a professor of International Relations. Doctoral student at Prolam/USP, researching the role of social media in the elections in Brazil and Argentina. Master from USP in the Graduate Program of Latin America, PROLAM. Bachelor in International Relations from the Santo André Foundation. He teaches several subjects in the International Relations Course at FMU. He is the coordinator of the National Training School of the Workers' Party and develops projects related to participation, communication and politics and training at the Perseu Abramo Foundation. He studied the international insertion of cities in the light of the hegemony dispute in the 90's in the master's degree. He also works with the trade union movement, with political training. He has worked in the Department of International Relations of the City of Santo André, in the National Confederation of Metalworkers - CNM, in the Central Única dos Trabalhadores - CUT, in the International of Construction and Wood Workers - ICM and in the Metalworkers' Union of ABC, at the Escola Dona Lindu, and at SindSaúde-SP in the Secretariat of Political Formation. He was a member of the GRRI -Reflection Group on International Relations. É professor de Relações Internacionais. Doutorando no Prolam/USP, pesquisando o papel das mídias sociais nas eleições do Brasil e da Argentina. Mestre pela USP no Programa de Pós Graduação da América Latina, PROLAM. Bacharel em Relações Internacionais pela Fundação Santo André. Leciona diversas disciplinas no Curso de Relações Internacionais da FMU. É coordenador da Escola Nacional de Formação do Partido dos Trabalhadores e desenvolve projetos relacionados à participação, comunicação e política e formação na Fundação Perseu Abramo. Estudou a inserção internacional de cidades a luz da disputa de hegemonia nos anos 90 no mestrado. Atua também junto ao movimento sindical, com formação política. Já trabalhou no Departamento de Relações Internacionais da Prefeitura de Santo André, na Confederação Nacional dos Metalúrgicos - CNM, na Central Única dos Trabalhadores - CUT, na Internacional dos Trabalhadores da Construção e da Madeira - ICM e no Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos do ABC, na Escola Dona Lindu, e no SindSaúde-SP na Secretaria de Formação Política.
