Ítalo Franco Costa

Doutorando em Artes Visuais na linha de História, Teoria e Crítica da Arte pela Universidade do Rio Grande do Sul (UFGRS). Mestre em Artes Visuais na linha de Educação em Artes e Processos de Formação Estética (PPGAVI/UFPel) onde atuou com bolsa CAPES/CNPq. Graduado em Artes Visuais - Licenciatura pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel). Pesquisador do grupo PHOTOGRAPHEIN - Núcleo de Pesquisa em Fotografia e Educação (UFPel/CNPq). Foi professor do Instituto Federal Sul Riograndense (Campus Gravataí) onde foi responsável pelas disciplinas de Arte e Introdução à Linguagem Visual para o ensino médio integrado e Introdução à Programação Visual para o ensino superior em Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas. Foi professor de artes visuais do projeto TRANSENEM (IFRS campus Porto Alegre), preparando estudantes LGBTQIA+ para o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio. Fez parte do Coletivo Engasga Gato de onde atuou na produção cultural durante a pandemia, desenvolvendo curadoria para exposições em espaços virtuais. Atuou como bolsista PIBIC do projeto DO PINCEL AO PIXEL: Sobre as (re)apresentações de sujeitos/mundo em imagens (UFPel/CNPq), no programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência - PIBID/UFPel e como bolsista do projeto de ensino "A HISTÓRIA DA ARTE E SUAS ESTRATÉGIAS DE ENSINO". Atuou como bolsista PBA/UFpel no projeto de extensão ARTEIROS DO COTIDIANO (Ufpel/CNpq). Atua na área de Artes Visuais no campo da fotografia e produzindo livros de artista.

PhD student in Visual Arts in the field of History, Theory and Art Critics at the University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFGRS). Master in Visual Arts in the line of Education in Arts and Aesthetic Formation Processes (PPGAVI/UFPel) where he worked with a CAPES/CNPq scholarship. Graduated in Visual Arts - Degree from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). Researcher at the PHOTOGRAPHEIN group - Photography and Education Research Center (UFPel/CNPq). Worked as a teacher at the Instituto Federal Sul Riograndense (Campus Gravataí) where he was responsible for the disciplines of Art and Introduction to Visual Language for integrated secondary education and Introduction to Visual Programming for higher education in Systems Analysis and Development. Worked as a visual arts teacher at the TRANSENEM project (IFRS campus Porto Alegre), preparing LGBTQIA+ students for the National High School Exam (ENEM). He was part of Coletivo Engasga Gato, where he worked in cultural production during the pandemic, curating exhibitions in virtual spaces. Worked as a PIBIC scholarship holder for the DO PINCEL AO PIXEL project: On the (re)presentations of subjects/world in images (UFPel/CNPq), in the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation - PIBID/UFPel and as a scholarship holder for the teaching project " THE HISTORY OF ART AND ITS TEACHING STRATEGIES". Worked as a PBA/UFpel fellow in the extension project ARTEIROS DO COTIDIANO (Ufpel/CNpq). Works in the area of #8203;#8203;Visual Arts in the field of photography and producing artist books.
