Ronaldo Barbosa Alvim

Graduated in Mathematics from UFF- Universidade Federal Fluminense (2000), Specialist in Mathematics and Statistics from UFLA - Federal University of Lavras (2001), Specialist in Physics from UFLA - Federal University of Lavras, Master in Computational Modeling in the Mathematics research line Applied and Scientific Computing from UERJ - State University of Rio de Janeiro (2004) and PhD in Natural Sciences from UENF. He is currently an effective member of the Brazilian Society of Applied and Computational Mathematics, the Brazilian Society of Mathematics and the Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education. Acts as an effective professor in the Bachelor of Information Systems and in the Degree in Chemistry, at the Fluminense Federal Institute (IFF), is a supervisor of the Faperj Young Talents project, and coordinated the Cryptography for All Extension Project, redistributed from the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES), where he worked in the undergraduate courses of Bachelor of Mining Engineering and Licentiate in Mathematics. He has experience in Teaching Differential and Integral Calculus and Numerical Calculus, with emphasis on Inverse Problems.

Ronaldo Barbosa Alvim é graduado em Matemática pela UFF - Universidade Federal Fluminense (2000), Especialista em Matemática e Estatística pela UFLA - Universidade Federal de Lavras (2001), Especialista em Física pela UFLA - Universidade Federal de Lavras, Mestre em Modelagem Computacional na linha de pesquisa de Matemática Aplicada e Computação Científica pela UERJ - Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2004) e Doutor em Ciências Naturais pela UENF. Atualmente é sócio efetivo da Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática Aplicada e Computacional, da Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática e da Sociedade Brasileira de Educação Matemática. Atua como professor efetivo no Bacharelado de Sistemas de Informação e na Licenciatura em Química, do Instituto Federal Fluminense (IFF), é orientador do projeto Jovens Talentos da Faperj, e coordenou o Projeto de Extensão Criptografia para Todos, redistribuído do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo (IFES), onde atuou na graduação nos cursos de Bacharelado em Engenharia de Minas e Licenciatura em Matemática. Tem experiência na área de Ensino do Cálculo Diferencial e Integral e Cálculo Numérico, com ênfase em Problemas Inversos.
