Graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany at the University Of Durham (1971) and with a PhD in Botany at the University Of Reading (1986). Currently Honorary Research Associate at the Herbarium, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, UK. Speciality is Botanical Systematics, working in the following research fields: Taxonomy of the plant family Araceae, E-Taxonomy, Morphometrics.
