Renata Maciel Ribeiro

Doctoral student in Earth System Science at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), master degree in Remote Sensing (INPE) and graduated in Environmental Science at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Researcher associated with the Laboratory of investigation at Social-Environmental Systems (LiSS) (INPE) and collaborator in the project Urbanization and Nature in the Amazon (URBANA) (UFPA). Scientific interest focus on the study of the urbanization process, in its sociocultural, economic and territorial dimensions, and its consequences on the society-nature relationship in the Amazon biome.

Doutoranda em Ciência do Sistema Terrestre no Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE), mestra em Sensoriamento Remoto (INPE) e graduada em Ciência Ambiental pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Pesquisadora associada ao Laboratório de investigação em Sistemas Socioambientais (LiSS) (INPE) e colaborada no projeto Urbanização e Natureza na Amazônia (URBANA) (UFPA). Interesse científico voltado para o estudo do processo de urbanização, em suas dimensões sociocultural, econômica e territorial, e seus desdobramentos sobre a relação sociedade-natureza no bioma Amazônia.
