Clóvis Coutinho da Motta Neto

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006). Worked at Group Research and Graduate Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre (2003-2004) in the area of ​​bioethics and laboratory malacology at the Museum of Science and Technology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006) with the problematic of the golden mussel (Limnoperma fortunei). Have a Master's degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) (2008-2010), in the Ecology program and a Doctor's degree at the Program of Systematics and Evolution (PPGSE) at the same institution (2013-2017) investigating the evolution of marine Perciformes at the Altantic and working mainly in the following areas: genetics and cytogenetics of Neotropical marine fish and freshwater. Worked at the Brazilian Geological Survey (SGB - CPRM), acting at the Rio Grande Rise Project (PROERG) coordinating the biological analysis referring to the Project (2017-2021)

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2006). Atuou no Grupo de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação do Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (2003-2004) na área de bioética e no laboratório de malacologia do Museu de Ciência e Tecnologia da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2006) com a problemática do mexilhão dourado (Limnoperma fortunei). É mestre formado pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) (2008-2010), no programa de Ecologia e atualmente é doutor pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sistemática e Evolução (PPGSE) da mesma instituição (2013-2017) investigando a evolução de Eupercaria marinhos no Atlântico e atuando principalmente nas seguintes áreas: citogenética e genética de peixes neotropicais marinhos e dulcícolas. Trabalhou no Serviço Geológico do Brasil (SGB - CPRM), atuando no Projeto Elevação do Rio Grande (PROERG), coordenando as análises biológicas referentes ao Projeto (2017-2021). Atualmente cursa Medicina na Universidade Potiguar (UNP) (2019-presente).
