Roberto Pettres

Graduated in Full Degree in Mathematics from Universidade do Contestado - Campus Mafra (2009), Master in Numerical Methods in Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná (2011) and PhD in Numerical Methods in Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná (2014). In 2021, she completed her Post-Doctorate in the Applied and Computational Mathematics Program at the State University of Londrina. He is an Adjunct Professor Class C Level IV at the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Paraná in Curitiba and is a permanent member of the Professional Master's Program in Mathematics in the National Network (PROFMAT-IMPA) and also a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Numerical Methods in Engineering. He develops research in the field of Mathematics, with an emphasis on Teaching and Applications of Mathematics and Numerical Analysis of diffusive and telegraphic phenomena.

Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena em Matemática pela Universidade do Contestado - Campus Mafra (2009), Mestrado em Métodos Numéricos em Engenharia pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2011) e Doutorado em Métodos Numéricos em Engenharia pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2014). Concluiu em 2021 seu Pós-doutorado no Programa de Matemática Aplicada e Computacional pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina. É Professor Adjunto Classe C Nível IV do Departamento de Matemática da Universidade Federal do Paraná em Curitiba e atua como membro permanente no Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Matemática em Rede Nacional (PROFMAT-IMPA) e também como membro permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Métodos Numéricos em Engenharia. Desenvolve pesquisa na área de Matemática, com ênfase no Ensino e Aplicações da Matemática e Análise Numérica de fenômenos difusivos e telegráficos.
