Mehran Karimpour-Fard

Graduated in Civil engineering from the Mazandaran University (1998), Master of Science in Geotechnics (1998) from Iran University of Science and Technology (2001) and PhD. in Geotechnics from Iran University of Science and Technology (2009), Post-Doctoral in Iran University of Science and Technology (2011). His research during the doctoral and post-doctoral period have been performed in the waste mechanics laboratory of department of science and materials of polytechnics school of Federal University of Bahia and under supervision of Professor Sandro Lemos Machado. Having experience in the field of deep foundation and destructive and nom-destructive tests of piles, his main field of research is laboratory evaluation of mechanical behavior of non-conventional materials especially MSW materials. He had been a faculty member in the Federal universities in Iran, since 2012, University of Guilan (2012-2018) and Iran University of Science and Technology (2018 until now). He is also, the head of Geotechnical Research Center and the vice dean of civil engineering school in industrial and Internarial collaboration affairs.
