Luis Eduardo Alves Damasceno

Graduado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE), com período sanduíche na University of Western Australia (UWA). Mestre e Doutor pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Imunologia Básica e Aplicada da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP), Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Realizou Doutorado Sanduíche no Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Alemanha. Possui expertise em tópicos que englobam imunometabolismo, biologia de células T, inflamação e autoimunidade. Atualmente é Pesquisador de Pós-Doutorado no Departamento de Farmacologia da FMRP-USP, onde desenvolve estudos que integram mecanismos de regulação da resposta imune e tumorigênese.

He holds a degree in Biological Science from State University of Ceará (UECE), with a period enrolled in a Study Abroad program at The University of Western Australia (UWA). Master and PhD degrees from Applied and Basic Immunology Graduate Program at Ribeirao Preto Medical School (FMRP), University of Sao Paulo (USP). Completed a PhD internship at the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany. He has expertise in topics ranging from immunometabolism, T-cell biology, inflammation, and autoimmunity. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Pharmacology of the FMRP-USP, where he develops projects that integrate the mechanisms of regulation of the immune response and tumorigenesis.
