Klaus Casaro Saturnino

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Londrina (2001), a Master's degree from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2009) and a PhD from the same IES (2016) with the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science. He is a professor at the Federal University of Jataí, along with the Veterinary Medicine Course, teaching the disciplines of General Pathology, Special Veterinary Pathology, Basic Cytology and Ornithopathology. He has experience in the areas of General Biology, with an emphasis on Pathology (General Pathology and Special Pathology), Anatomy, Diagnostic Imaging, Ichthyopathology and Ornithopathology. He currently holds the position of coordinator of the Veterinary Medicine Course and coordinator of the Veterinary Pathological Anatomy Laboratory at the Federal University of Jataí (LAPVet-UFJ). He also works as a professor and member of the NDAE of the Residency Program in Internal Medicine, Surgical Clinic and Anesthesiology in Companion Animals and as a professor in the Graduate Program in Animal Bioscience at the same HEI. He coordinates research and extension projects involving histology and pathology of domestic and production animals.

Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2001), Mestrado pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2009) e doutorado pela mesma IES (2016) junto ao Programa de Pós Graduação em Ciência Animal. É docente da Universidade Federal de Jataí, junto ao Curso de Medicina Veterinária, ministrando as disciplinas de Patologia Geral, Patologia Especial Veterinária, Citologia Básica e Ornitopatologia. Tem experiência nas áreas de Biologia Geral, com ênfase em Patologia (Patologia Geral e Patologia Especial), Anatomia, Diagnóstico por Imagem, Ictiopatologia e Ornitopatologia. Atualmente exerce o cargo de coordenador do Curso de Medicina Veterinária e coordenador do Laboratório de Anatomia Patológica Veterinária da Universidade Federal de Jataí (LAPVet-UFJ). Também atua como docente e membro do NDAE do Programa de Residência em Clínica Médica, Clínica Cirúrgica e Anestesiologia em Animais de Companhia e como docente junto ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Biociência Animal desta mesma IES. Coordena projetos de pesquisa e extensão envolvendo histologia e patologia de animais domésticos e de produção.
