Sandra Mara Alfonso

Sandra Mara Alfonso has a PhD in History (2017) from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) where she defended the Jodacil Damaceno Thesis and its legacy for the Brazilian guitar: the practice of a teacher. Master in History (2005) from UFU where he defended the master's thesis Jodacil Damaceno: a reference in the trajectory of the guitar in Brazil. The dissertation was transformed into a book The guitar from marginality to academia: trajectory of Jodacil Damaceno, published by EDUFU in 2009, with the 2nd edition in E-book in 2017, DOI 10.14393/EDUFU-978-85-7078-457-5 . Available at: . She is a specialist in Music Research Methods and Techniques (1993) and graduated in Guitar Music (1985) from UFU. Effective professor of the Undergraduate Course in Music at the Federal University of Uberlândia since 1986, where she works in the areas of Guitar Instrumental Practice, Guitar Teaching and Learning Methodology, Guitar Literature and Chamber Music. Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Music from 2006 to 2008 and from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2019. She is a member of the Structuring Teaching Core (NDE) of the Collegiate Music Course at the Federal University of Uberlândia.

Sandra Mara Alfonso é Doutora em História (2017) pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) onde defendeu a Tese Jodacil Damaceno e seu legado para o violão brasileiro: a prática de um professor. Mestre em História (2005) pela UFU onde defendeu a dissertação de mestrado Jodacil Damaceno: uma referência na trajetória do violão no Brasil. A dissertação foi transformada em livro O violão da marginalidade à academia: trajetória de Jodacil Damaceno, editado pela EDUFU em 2009 tendo a 2ª edição em E-book no ano de 2017, DOI 10.14393/EDUFU-978-85-7078-457-5. Disponível em: . É especialista em Métodos e Técnicas de Pesquisa em Música (1993) e Graduada em Música - Violão (1985) pela UFU. Professora efetiva do Curso de Graduação em Música da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia desde 1986 onde atua nas áreas de Prática Instrumental Violão, Metodologia do Ensino e Aprendizagem do instrumento Violão, Literatura do Violão e Música de Câmara. Coordenadora do Curso de Graduação em Música de 2006 a 2008 e de 01 de julho de 2017 até a 01 de julho de 2019. É membro do Núcleo Docente Estruturante (NDE) e do Colegiado Curso de Música da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
