Taimur Gibran Rabuske Kuntz
Taimur Rabuske was born in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree (with highest distinction) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal, in 2016. During 2009, he was an intern in South Korea at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). From July 2010 until June 2016 he was a research assistant at INESC-ID, Lisbon, Portugal. He currently serves as a member of the Analog and Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, and works remotely for European companies as an AMS/RF designer/consultant. His expertise lies in designing mixed-signal circuits (with emphasis in data converters), sensor frontends and RF building blocks. His research interests also include computer-aided design (CAD), advanced simulation techniques and modeling of stochastic phenomena in electronic circuits.
