Florisvaldo Paulo Ribeiro Junior

Associate Professor at the Institute of History of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) since 2006. I have been dedicated to researching and teaching about the history of slavery in Imperial Brazil, the history of Africa and histories of racism in the 20th and 21st centuries. I am a member of the Afro-Brazilian Studies Nucleus - NEAB/UFU and the Gender and Women's Studies Nucleus - NEGUEM/UFU.

Professor Associado no Instituto de História da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) desde 2006. Tenho me dedicado a pesquisar e ensinar sobre a história da escravidão no Brasil Imperial, história da África e histórias do racismo no século XX e XXI. Integro os Núcleo de Estudos Afro-Brasileiros - NEAB/UFU e o Núcleo de Estudos de Gênero e da Mulher - NEGUEM/UFU. Desde 2023, credenciado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em História - Mestrado Profissional - da Universidade Federal de Catalão.
