Gilmar da Silva Montargil

Doutorando e Mestre em Comunicação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGCOM/UFRGS). Mestre em Estudos de Linguagens pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR). Possui graduação em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR). Agraciado em 2018 com o 1° lugar na categoria Monografia no 22° Prêmio Sangue Novo do Jornalismo Paranaense do Sindicato dos Jornalistas do Paraná (SindijorPR). Tem experiência na área de Comunicação e Linguística atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: infografia, análise do discurso, semiótica, game studies e produção de sentidos em diferentes mídias. Fez parte do Grupo de Pesquisa em Linguística Aplicada (GRUPLA) e atualmente integra o Núcleo Corporalidades do Grupo de Pesquisa em Semiótica e Culturas da Comunicação (GPESC).

He has experience in the area of ​​Communication and Linguistics, working mainly on the following topics: infographics, discourse analysis, semiotics, game studies and production of meanings in different media. He was part of the Applied Linguistics Research Group (GRUPLA) and is currently part of the Corporalities Nucleus of the Research Group on Semiotics and Communication Cultures (GPESC).
