Felipe de Matos Muller

Professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He holds a doctorate in Philosophy (Knowledge and Language) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (2004); doctoral student in Engineering and Knowledge Management (Knowledge Media) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC (2018 -). He holds a master's degree in Philosophy (Ethics and Political Philosophy) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (2000) and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy (Bachelor and Licentiate Degree) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (1997). He did a Postdoctoral internship at Istituto Universitario Sophia - Italy (2011) and at the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM (2018). He worked as a teacher at the Santa Luzia Institute - Primary School for the Blind (1997). He served as an undergraduate professor and course coordinator at Faculdade IDC (2006-2009). He worked as an undergraduate, graduate teacher and course coordinator at PUCRS (2000-2017). He served as a substitute professor at IFRS - Campus Rolante (2018-2020). He was leader of the Social Epistemology GP (CNPq) in the period 2011-2017. He is a member of the Media and Knowledge Research Group (UFSC-CNPq). He was coordinator of the ANPOF Analytical Epistemology Working Group (WG) (2016-2018). Has experience in the area of ​​Philosophy, with emphasis on Epistemology and Ethics, acting mainly on the following themes: Social Epistemology, Epistemology of Testimony, Epistemology of Groups and Applied Epistemology. Research in the areas of Social Epistemology and Knowledge Media.

Possui mestrado em Filosofia (Ética e Filosofia Política) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (2000) e graduação em Filosofia (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (1997). Fez estágio de Pós-Doutorado no Istituto Universitario Sophia - Itália (2011) e na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - UFSM (2018). Atuou como professor no Instituto Santa Luzia - Escola de 1°grau para cegos (1997). Atuou como professor de graduação e coordenador de curso na Faculdade IDC (2006-2009). Atuou como professor de graduação, pós-graduação e coordenador de curso na PUCRS (2000-2017). Atuou como professor substituto no IFRS - Campus Rolante (2018-2020). Foi líder do GP Epistemologia Social (CNPq) no período de 2011-2017. É membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Mídia e Conhecimento (UFSC-CNPq). Foi coordenador do Grupo de Trabalho (GT) Epistemologia Analítica da ANPOF (2016-2018). Tem experiência na área de Filosofia, com ênfase em Epistemologia e Ética, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Epistemologia Social, Epistemologia do Testemunho, Epistemologia de Grupos e Epistemologia Aplicada. Pesquisa nas áreas de Epistemologia Social e Mídias do Conhecimento.
