Teresa Paula Costa Azinheira Oliveira

Teresa A. Oliveira is Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Sciences and Technology, at the Universidade Aberta (UAb), Portugal, since 2000, teaching several courses in the statistical areas. Currently she coordinates de Master in Biostatistics and Biometry. Her main research interests are on Experimental Design, Statistical Modelling, Data Analysis and Risk Analysis as well as Mathematical and Statistical e-Learning methodologies. She is Co-Editor of the volumes ?Risk Assessment Challenges: Theory and Practice", by "Springer Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics" and of the volume ?Statistical and Biometrical Challenges: Theory and Applications?,by Shaker-Verlag. She has published several papers in international journals, books and proceedings. She has supervised several PhD and master thesis regarding her interest field and she co-organized several international conferences on Statistics, Mathematics and Computation (9th Edition - December 2015), as well as Portuguese-Polish Workshops on Biometry (4rd Edition September 2014). She is an integrated member of the Center of Statistics and Applications of the University of Lisbon and she is a collaborator in UIED- Research Unit on Education and Development, Faculty of Sciences and Technology of New University of Lisbon and in the IPM- Preventive Medicine Institute, Faculty of Medicine of University of Lisbon. Teresa A. Oliveira é Professora Auxiliar no Departamento de Ciências de Tecnologia da Universidade Aberta (UAb), Portugal, desde 2000 onde leciona várias unidades curriculares em cursos de graduação e pos-graduação, sendo atualmente a Coordenadora do Mestrado em Bioestatística e Biometria. Os seus principais interesses de investigação incluem o Planeamento de Experiências, a Modelação Estatística, a Análise de Dados e a Análise do Risco e ainda as Metodologias de E-Learning nas áreas da Matemática e da Estatística. É Co-Editora de vários Anais de livros de Conferências, do livro ?Risk Assessment Challenges: Theory and Practice", da Série "Springer Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics" e do livro ?Statistical and Biometrical Challenges: Theory and Applications?, da Shaker-Verlag. Tem publicado vários artigos em revistas internacionais, livros e Anais de Conferências. Tem orientado com sucesso vários alunos de Doutoramento e de Mestrado e tem co-organizado diversas conferências internacionais, como os "WSMC- Workshops on Statistics, Mathematics and Computation (9ª Edição - Dezembro de 2015), os "Portuguese-Polish Workshops on Biometry" (4ª Edição ocorreu em Cracóvia-Polónia em Setembro de 2014), para além de vários encontros em "E-Learning Mathematics". É membro integrado do CEAUL- Centro de Estatística e Aplicações da Universidade de Lisboa, é membro colaborador da "UIED- Research Unit on Education and Development", da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa e ainda colabora com o " IPM- Preventive Medicine Institute", Faculty of Medicine of University of Lisbon.
