Jesse Pereira da Silva

Licentiate in Philosophy from the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2005), Doctor and Master´s degree in Sciences of Religion and Bachelor in Theology from the same institution. He has teaching experience in the field of Philosophy and Theology in subjects such as Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, introduction to Theology, and Systematic Theology. He has done researches and published texts concerning topics like the problematic of human will and faith in our postmodern time, religion, love, theology and alienation, postmodernity, the relation between philosophy and theology, solitude, protestantism. He has also done specialisations in Portugal and England and built up long experience in teaching English as a second language at various schools of renown in Brazil and in Australian Universities.

Possui licenciatura em Filosofia pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2005), doutorado e mestrado em Ciências da Religião e graduação em Teologia pela mesma instituição. Tem experiência docente na área de filosofia e teologia, com ênfase em Introdução à Filosofia, Ética, Introdução à Teologia e Teologia Sistemática. Possui pesquisas e publicações abarcando temas como a problemática da vontade humana e a fé na era pós-moderna, religião, amor, teologia e alienação, pós-modernidade, relação entre filosofia e teologia, solidão, protestantismo. Realizou especializações em Portugal e Inglaterra e possui experiência no ensino da língua inglesa em várias escolas de idioma no Brasil e em universidades australianas.
