Mauro Meirelles de Oliveira Santos

Engenheiro eletrônico pelo IME, pós-graduado em Administração da Produção (FGV-SP) e em Gestão Ambiental (UFRJ), mestre em Engenharia Urbana e Ambiental pela PUC-Rio; de 2000 a 2015, participante da equipe responsável pelo Inventário Brasileiro de Gases de Efeito Estufa; especialista em Mecanismo de Desenvolvimento Limpo; revisor-líder dos Inventários de Emissões de Gases de Efeito-Estufa dos Países Anexo I da Convenção-Quadro das Nações Unidas sobre Mudanças do Clima (UNFCCC), especialista para o setor industrial.

I am an Electronic Engineer (IME, 1977), post graduated in Production Administration and Industrial Relationships (FGV-SP, 1984) and in Environmental Management (UFRJ, 2005), Master of Science in Urban and Environmental Engineering, (PUC-Rio, 2015). From 2000 to 2015, I have been working for the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, in the Coordination on Global Climate Change, with greenhouse gas inventories and carbon reduction projects (CDM). I am a Brazilian representative to the UNFCCC Secretariat, as review expert in greenhouse gas inventories of Annex I Parties, in the industrial sector, and as lead reviewer.
