Cassio Brun Goldschmidt

Cassio Goldschmidt is the co-founder, chief scientist and security officer at Superplayer.fm, a free music streaming and recommendation service with over 4.5 million users in Brazil. Prior to Superplayer Mr. Goldschmidt co-founded Cassioware, a two time award finalist company that developed solutions for the Windows mobile platform.Cassio is internationally known as an information security expert. Cassio was one of the three finalist in the (ISC) Americas Information Security Leadership (ISLA) Awards 2011 in the Information Security Practitioner category and endowed with the special Community Service Star award during the same occasion. In 2012, Cassio was one of the finalists in the Web Application Security Person of the Year (WASPY) awards. A 3BR Tech é melhor conhecida por desenvolver o superplayer.fm, um site de streaming the playlists de musica com mais de 4.5 milhoes de usuarios cadastrados. Antes de criar o Superplayer.fm, Cassio foi co-fundador da Cassioware. Cassio teve um de seus produtos apontado por dois anos para o premio "Best Pocket PC Software Awards" pela Pocket PC magazine (uma divisao da revista Americana PC Magazine) entre outras honras dadas por sites especializados em aplicativos moveis.Ex-gerente mundial sênior de segurança da Symantec, Cassio é reconhecido como um dos maiores especialistas em segurança de aplicacoes do mundo, palestrando regularmente em conferências como a Black Hat, RSA e a OWASP Global AppSec Asia. Possui diversas patentes nos EUA e contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de currículos em diferentes universidades norte-americanas, como a Carnegie Melon e UCLA, sendo atualmente, parte do board da UCLA extension. É graduado em ciência da computação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS, Brasil), possui mestrado em engenharia de software pela Santa Clara University (SCU, EUA) e MBA pela University of Southern California (USC Marshall, EUA).Fora do trabalho, Cassio é conhecido por suas contribuições para Open Web Application Security Projeto (OWASP), Software Assurance Forum for Excellence in Code (SAFECode), a Common Weakness enumeration (CWE) / SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Segurança (SANS) Top 25. Cássio foi um dos três finalistas no primeiro (ISC) (ISLA) Awards 2011 na categoria Profissional de Segurança da Informação e onde tambem recebeu o prêmio Estrela por servicos prestados a comunidade de seguranca. Em 2012 Cassio foi apontado como um dos finalistas no premio Web Application Security Person of the Year (WASPY) dado pela OWASP durante a Global AppSec em Austin, Texas.
