Fernanda Löffler Niemeyer Attademo

I have a degree in Veterinary Medicine (2001), a Masters in Development and Environment (2006), specialization in environmental law (2005), specialization in public health (2005) and a doctorate in Veterinary Science (2014).I have experience in marine manatee conservation medicine and was a veterinarian responsible for the activities of capturing marine manatees in Brazil (2011-2018).I have experience in the elaboration and execution of Environmental Emergency Plans and care for oiled marine fauna. I participated in simulations and real actions to respond to oiled fauna in Brazil. I participated in training for the Incidet Comand System (ICS 100/200/300/320). I participated in the elaboration of protocols for the care and rehabilitation of oiled and non-oiled marine fauna.I was substitute coordinator of the National Center for Research and Conservation of Aquatic Mammals / ICMBio (2014-2015) and coordinator of the Marine Manatee Conservation Program / ICMBio (2016-2017). I was a veterinary doctor of aquatic mammals at ICMBio (2006-2018). Veterinary doctor of aquatic animals in Rio Grande do Norte (2003-2006 and 2018-current). I have been acting since 2003 in the management and execution of conservation projects for aquatic mammals in Brazil and in the rescue, management and release of this group of animals, with an emphasis on sirens.Participated in training and capacity building on manatees in Florida between 2008 and 2011.Member of the ICMBio Technical Advisory Group for marine manatees and cetaceans. I have participated in the assessment of aquatic mammal species threatened with extinction since 2011. I have participated in the workshops of the National Action Plans (ICMBio) of marine manatees and cetaceans. Member of the Advisory Group on Wild Animals of the Veterinary Medicine Council of Pernambuco.
Possui graduação em medicina veterinaria pela Universidade do Grande Rio (2001), mestrado em Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente pela Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (2007) e doutorado em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (2014). Atualmente é membro titular do conselho representante crmv do Conselho Estadual de Meio Ambiente de Pernambuco, pesquisador associado do Centro de Estudos e Monitoramento Ambiental, consultora técnica e ciêntífica da Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, pesquisadora associada do Instituto Brasileiro para Medicina da Conservação, comissão de animais selvagens do crmv-pe do Conselho Regional de Medicina Veterinária de Pernambuco, pesquisadora associada_colaboradora eventual do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa e Conservação de Mamíferos Aquáticos e médica veterinária do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa e Conservação de Mamíferos Aquáticos. Tem experiência na área de Medicina Veterinária, com ênfase em Medicina Veterinária, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cetáceos, pesca artesanal, peixe-boi marinho, rio grande do norte e biodiversidade.
