Carla Conceição Barreto

Carla Conceição Barreto nasceu em Brasília, Brasil (1981). Doutoranda no Programa de Doutoramento da Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto em Portugal com pesquisa sobre Arquitetura Moderna Brasileira, especificamente sobre o arquiteto Lucio Costa. Mestre em Arte Contemporânea pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes da Universidade de Brasília em 2011 na linha de pesquisa Educação em Artes Visuais. Licenciada em Artes Visuais em 2007, bacharel em Artes Visuais em 2008, e bacharel Arquitetura e Urbanismo em 2018, pela Universidade de Brasília. Professora de Arquitetura, Design de Interiores e Artes Visuais. Desenvolveu pesquisa no âmbito da Teoria e História da Arquitetura, Teoria e História da Arte, Espaços Interiores e Mobiliário. Foi professora e coordenadora do curso de graduação e pós-graduação em Artes Visuais da Faculdade de Artes Dulcina de Moraes. Foi membro do coletivo de arquitetos Voxel Lab com poética sobre intervenções urbanas.

Carla Conceição Barreto was born in Brasília, Brazil (1981). PhD candidate at the PhD Program of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in Portugal, with research on Modern Brazilian Architecture, specifically on the architect Lucio Costa. Master in Contemporary Art by the Postgraduate Program in Arts at the University of Brasília in 2011 in the research line Education in Visual Arts. Graduated in Visual Arts in 2007, bachelor in Visual Arts in 2008, and bachelor Architecture and Urbanism in 2018, from the University of Brasília. Professor of Architecture, Interior Design and Visual Arts. Developed research in the scope of Theory and History of Architecture, Theory and History of Art, Interior Spaces and Furniture. She was professor and coordinator of the undergraduate and graduate courses in Visual Arts courses at the Faculty of Arts Dulcina de Moraes. She was a member of the architects' collective Voxel Lab with poetics on urban interventions.
