Postdoctoral work in progress on tools for multipliers in Fashion Design by the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo - EACH / USP (2019). PhD in Materials Engineering by the Thematic Network of Materials Engineering - REDEMAT - UFOP / UEMG / CETEC. Master in Production Engineering (2009), from the Federal University of Minas Gerais / UFMG. Graduated in Industrial Design (1986) and Artistic Education (1998), from the State University of Minas Gerais / UEMG. She currently holds the position of deputy director and coordinator of the Fashion Design undergraduate course, professor and researcher at the School of Design / UEMG, where she teaches as subjects: Materials and Production Processes IV and V, Research and Planning for Collection and Development de Calçados He is a member of the Sectorial Textile Committee, a body that belongs to ABIT - Brazilian Association of the Textile Industry. The areas of activity and interest are: Product and Fashion Design, Footwear, Textile and Clothing, Jewelry and Sustainability.

Mestra em Engenharia de Produção (2009), pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais/UFMG. Graduada em Desenho Industrial (1986) e Educação Artística (1998), pela Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais/UEMG. Atualmente exerce o cargo de diretora da Escola de Design da UEMG - Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais, professora e pesquisadora da Escola de Design/UEMG, onde leciona as disciplinas: Materiais e Processos de Produção IV e V, Pesquisa e Planejamento de Coleção, Desenvolvimento de Calçados, Processo de Criação e Design Efêmero. É membro do Comitê de Avaliação do Instituto de Pesquisa em Design da Rede de Pesquisadores em Design da Universidade de Palermo para o período de 2021-2025. É membro do Comitê Setorial Têxtil, órgão que pertence a ABIT - Associação Brasileira da Indústria Têxtil. As áreas de atuação e interesse são: Projeto de Produto e Moda, Indústria Calçadista, Têxtil e do Vestuário, Joias e Sustentabilidade.
