Lucas Alexandre Pires

I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Anthropology and Sociology from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar and a Degree in Sociology from FCLAr - UNESP, a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) - UFSCar with a FAPESP scholarship and , I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at the Graduate Program in Education (PPGEdu) - USP Ribeirão Preto with a CAPES-DS scholarship. I was a member of the Editorial Committee of R@U - Revista de Antropologia da UFSCar and, currently, I am a member and researcher of the Study Group in Sociology of Law and Environmental Rights - USP Ribeirão Preto, and of LEPINJE: Laboratory of Studies and Research on Childhood , Youth and Education - FFCLRP USP. During graduation, I coordinated and worked as a History teacher at the UFSCar Popular Course. In the Master's degree, I worked as a Tutor at LAPA - UFSCar's Academic Production Laboratory and, during the Doctorate, I worked as a volunteer professor of Sociology and Philosophy at the Popular Course NAV and I act as a professor of Sociology and Philosophy at the pre-college preparatory courses CAP Quintino e Paiva II - FFCLRP-USP in Ribeirão Preto, and I also offer short courses on research project design, reading and academic writing for undergraduate students at FFCLRP-USP, together with the development of my research on youth and cultural manifestations in Ribeirão Preto as non-formal education spaces. I have experience and interest in research related to the following topics: Foucault and self-care; Sociology and Anthropology; Youth, Culture and Democracy; Non-School Education and Ethnography; Sociology of Education; Contemporary Sociology; Urban Anthropology; Anthropology of the Body and Health; Cyborg Anthropology, Gift and Reciprocity, Research Methods and Techniques in Human and Social Sciences.

Possuo Bacharelado em Ciências Sociais com ênfase em Antropologia e Sociologia pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar e Licenciatura em Sociologia pela FCLAr - UNESP, Mestrado em Antropologia Social pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social (PPGAS) - UFSCar com bolsa FAPESP e, atualmente, curso o Doutorado em Educação pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPGEdu) - USP Ribeirão Preto com bolsa CAPES -DS. Fui membro da Comissão Editorial da R@U - Revista de Antropologia da UFSCar e, atualmente, sou membro e pesquisador do Grupo de Estudos em Sociologia do Direito e Direitos Ambientais - USP Ribeirão Preto, e do LEPINJE: Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisa sobre Infância, Juventude e Educação - FFCLRP USP. Durante a Graduação, coordenei e trabalhei como professor de História do Cursinho Popular da UFSCar. No Mestrado atuei como Tutor do LAPA - Laboratório de Produção Acadêmica da UFSCar e, no decurso do Doutorado, atuei como professor voluntário de Sociologia e Filosofia no Cursinho Popular NAV e atuo como professor de Sociologia e Filosofia dos cursinhos pré-vestibulares CAP Quintino e Paiva II - FFCLRP-USP de Ribeirão Preto, e também ofereço minicursos sobre elaboração de projetos pesquisa, leitura e escrita acadêmica para estudantes da graduação da FFCLRP-USP, em conjunto como o desenvolvimento de minha pesquisa sobre as juventudes e as manifestações culturais de Ribeirão Preto como espaços de educação não formal. Tenho experiência e interesse em pesquisas relacionadas aos seguintes temas: Foucault e o cuidado de si; Sociologia e Antropologia; Juventude, Cultura e Democracia; Educação Não-Escolar e Etnografia; Sociologia da Educação; Sociologia Contemporânea; Antropologia Urbana; Antropologia do Corpo e da Saúde; Antropologia Cyborg, Dádiva e Reciprocidade, Métodos e Técnicas de Pesquisa em Ciências Humanas e Sociais.
