Kim Petrick

Dr. Kim Petrick is a partner in the Munich office. He joined Bain in 2000. Over the years, Dr. Petrick has functionally specialized in strategy/ corporate transformation, customer strategy & marketing, and sourcing/supply chain management. He gained specific industry expertise in energy sector (focus area, covering utilities, oil & gas, renewables), engineering, process industries, and high-tech/telecom. Successfully completed projects include: long-term strategy development for a major European, vertically integrated power and gas utility company, implementation of customer loyalty management processes for a global utility company, multiple sourcing strategy and supply chain excellence programs for global leaders across a wide range of industries, strategic and operational transformations of internationalizes medium-size companies, commercial Due Diligences across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Bain, Dr. Petrick completed a doctorate in International Energy Economics at the Berlin University of Technology (D), conducting part of his research work in the US. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Engineering from the TU Berlin, as well as a MSc in Management from EM Lyon (F). Dr. Petrick speaks German, English and French fluently.
