Luiz Gustavo Pereira

I am a geologist with interest in sedimentology and paleontology in multidisciplinary approaches. I am also particularly interested in the fields of taphonomy, fossilization, and conservation palaeobiology. Currently, I research taphonomy and paleobiology of Ediacaran bioclast in the Tamengo Formation, Corumbá Group, SW Brazil. I am also involved in projects about neoichnology, ecological indexes using benthic foraminifera, and evolutionary dynamics of mangrove areas on the coast of Brazil.

graduation at Geologia from Universidade de São Paulo (2016), graduation at Geologia from The University of Western Australia (2015) and master's at OEP-Biology from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (2020). Has experience in Geosciences, acting on the following subjects: tafonomia, neoicnologia, fácies sedimentares, nível relativo do mar and sedimentologia.
