Talita Caselato

Talita Caselato (1986) is an award-winning film director, visual artist, producer and researcher. She holds a Master and Bachelor of Arts degree from ULisboa and Unicamp (Brazil). She exhibits since 2007, her work has been curated by Paulo Herkenhoff, Ricardo Resende and Fernando Cocchiarale. Her latest film VERONICA (2020), sponsored by SPCINE, with editing by Cristina Amaral, had its international premiere at the 50˚ Rotterdam International Film Festival and national premiere at the 31˚ São Paulo International Short Film Festival, when it received the SESC TV Aquisição award. It went on to the 10˚ KISFF and 19˚ Bogoshorts. He has in the academy a space for the investigation of the concepts that involve his artistic making. She is a researcher affiliated with the Centro de Investigação em Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.

Talita Caselato (1986) é uma premiada directora de cinema, artista visual, produtora e investigadora. É mestre e Licenciada em Artes pela ULisboa e Unicamp (Brasil). Expõe desde 2007, o seu trabalho já foi comissariado por Paulo Herkenhoff, Ricardo Resende e Fernando Cocchiarale. Seu último filme VERONICA (2020), patrocinado pela SPCINE, com montagem de Cristina Amaral, teve sua estréia internacional no 50˚ Festival Internacional de Cinema de Rotterdam e estréia nacional do 31˚ Festival Internacional de Curtas Metragens de São Paulo, quando recebeu o prêmio SESC TV Aquisição. Seguiu para o 10˚ KISFF e 19˚ Bogoshorts. Tem na academia um espaço para a investigação dos conceitos que envolvem o seu fazer artístico. É investigadora filiada ao Centro de Investigação em Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.
