Stéphane Zingué is born in February 1985 in Yaoundé (Cameroun). He is graduated (PhD) in Biology (Physiology) at the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon) in 2014 and held a Master degree in Public Health at the Catholic University of Central Africa in 2015. He developed part of his thesis at the University of Athens (Greece), where he gained experiences in pharmacognosy, principally in isolation of natural product and Cell Biology. Since 2012 he has permanent position at the University of Maroua (Cameroun) and the 27th may 2019, it was promoted to the academic grade of Associate Professor. In 2016, Stéphane Zingué was a postdoctorate fellow at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). He has experiences in Physiology, Ethnopharmacology, phytochemistry and Epidemiology, working mostly in the investigation of biological/pharmacological properties of new drugs focusing on estrogenic and antitumoral compounds. Actually he has developed new research areas on epidemiological studies of cancers in Cameroon and on the assessment of analgesic properties of natural substances that could alleviate pains of cancer patients.Stephane Zingué is a positive and hardworking man; always in the search of learning more and more. He already supervised 20 Master?s thesis and 5 PhD thesis (in process). He possessed around 40 scientific publications in peer review journals.
