Laurel Sky Hiebert

Laurel graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Oregon (2008) and a PhD in Biology at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology at the University of Oregon (2015). She obtained a graduate research fellowship from the National Science Foundation to complete her PhD. She now holds a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Sao Paulo in the Zoology Department with funding from the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). She has experience in evolutionary biology, developmental biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and ecology.

Laurel graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology from University of Oregon (2008) and Doctorate in Biology from University of Oregon (2015).
