Renner Sartório Camargo

Atualmente sou coordenador do Departamento de Engenharia de Controle e Automação do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo - Ifes, lecionando Eletricidade, Eletrônica de Potência, Drives Elétricos, etc. Também sou doutor em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - Ufes, onde pesquiso conversores multinível e acionamentos elétricos baseados em PWM e implementações de controle preditivo em FPGA e DSP. Além disso, possuo Mestrado e Especialização em Engenharia Elétrica e MBA em Engenharia de Projetos Industriais. Trabalhei por quase dez anos no desenvolvimento de projetos prediais e instalações elétricas, subestações e sistemas de proteção contra raios. Participei da criação de um comitê socioambiental com ênfase em eficiência energética e melhoria da qualidade energética. Esse comitê também teve como objetivo sensibilizar os colaboradores para o uso sustentável dos itens de consumo da instituição. Desenvolvi atividades de pesquisa durante seis meses no laboratório do grupo de pesquisa Electronic Engineering Applied to Renewable Energy Systems - GEISER, na Universidade de Alcalá de Henares - UAH, Madrid, Espanha.

I am currently coordinator of the Control and Automation Engineering Department at the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo - Ifes, teaching Electricity, Power Electronics, Electric Drives, etc. I am also Ph.D. in Electrical Engineer at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - Ufes, where I researched multilevel converters and electrical drives based on PWM and predictive control implementations in FPGA and DSP. In addition, I have MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Industrial Project Engineering. I worked for almost ten years to develop building projects and electrical installations, substations, and lightning protection systems. I participated in creating a socio-environmental committee with an emphasis on energy efficiency and improvement of energy quality. This committee also aimed to raise employee awareness of the sustainable use of the institution's consumption items. I developed research activities for six months in the laboratory of the research group Electronic Engineering Applied to Renewable Energy Systems - GEISER, at the University of Alcalá de Henares - UAH, Madrid, Spain.
