Marcelo Geovane Perseguino

Graduated in Nursing from Escola Paulista de Enfermagem - Federal University of São Paulo (EPE-UNIFESP), Master of Science from Escola Paulista de Enfermagem - UNIFESP. Doctorate from the Paulista School of Nursing - UNIFESP. He is currently a professor of Higher Education in Medicine and Physiotherapy at the University of Ribeirão Preto, Coordinator of the Open University for the Third Age at the Universidade do Oeste Paulista. She has experience in the area of ​​practice and research in the field of Nursing and Medicine, with an emphasis on Public Health and Public Policy, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Health of the Elderly, Family Health, Family and Couple Therapist, working mainly on the following topics: physical examination , orthopedics, elderly, nursing process, family and couples health, health policies and epidemiology. Lead researcher of the Study Group on the Aging and Community Process - GEPEC (UNOESTE) and member of the GEPFAC Family and Community Research and Studies Group (UNIFESP). Professor Representative of the Scientific Department of Nursing in Gerontology of the Brazilian Nursing Association - São Paulo (DCEG-ABEn-SP).

Possui graduação em Enfermagem pela Escola Paulista de Enfermagem - Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPE-UNIFESP), Mestre em Ciências pela Escola Paulista de Enfermagem - UNIFESP . Doutorado pela Escola Paulista de Enfermagem - UNIFESP. Atualmente é professor de Ensino Superior em Medicina e fisioterapia da Universidade de Ribeirão Preto. Tem experiência na área de prática e pesquisa na área de Enfermagem e Medicina, com ênfase em Saúde coletiva e políticas públicas, Ortopedia e Traumatologia, Saúde da Pessoa Idosa, Saúde da Família, Terapeuta Familiar e de casal atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: exame físico, ortopedia, idoso, processo de enfermagem, saúde da família e casais, políticas de saúde e epidemiologia. Pesquisador líder do Grupo de Estudos em processo de Envelhecimento e Comunidade - GEPPEC (UNAERP) e membro do Grupo de Pesquisa e Estudos de Família e Comunidade GEPFAC (UNIFESP).
