Tiberio Cesar França

Bacharel em Comunicação Visual pela Escola Superior de Artes Plásticas da Fundação Universidade Mineira de Arte - ESAP/FUMA (1985). Especialista em Arte e Contemporaneidade pela Escola Guignard - UEMG (2006). Mestre em Estudos do Lazer pela EEFFTO - UFMG (2015). Professor de História da Fotografia, Introdução à Fotografia e de Habilitação em Fotografia na Escola Guignard, pertencente a Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais - UEMG, para o curso de Artes Plásticas e Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas, de agosto de 1997 aos dias de hoje. Lecionou ainda Fotografia Publicitária para o curso de Comunicação Social da Faculdade Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte (SOBRAPE) e Introdução à Fotografia na PUCMinas - Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, para o curso de Comunicação Integrada, entre 2002 e 2009 e no curso de pós-graduação em Fotografia, Arte e Cultura no ano de 2015. Entre 2003 e 2006 foi curador da Primeira Fotogaleria de Belo Horizonte, espaço destinado a exibição e comercialização de fotografias como obras de arte, realizando exposições, lançamentos de livros e debates sobre fotografia brasileira contemporânea. Realizador da Semana da Fotografia de Belo Horizonte, entre 2010 e 2015. Co-fundador do Núcleo Imagem Latente, que desde 2004 celebra o PinholeDay na cidade de Belo Horizonte/MG. Co-fundador do Forum Mineiro de Fotografia Autoral, que entre 2010 e 2015 realizou encontros para debater políticas publicas voltadas para o setor das Artes Visuais no Estado de Minas Gerais. Membro do Colegiado Setorial de Artes Visuais no período de 2010/2012 do Conselho Nacional de Políticas Culturais - CNPC, do Ministério da Cultura - MinC. Presidente Nacional da Associação de Fotógrafos FOTOTECH no período 2013/2017. Curador do Festival de Fotografia do Sertão de 2014 a 2017, na cidade de Feira de Santana, Bahia.

Between 2003 and 2006 he was curator of the Primeira Photogallery of Belo Horizonte, a space destined to display and commercialize photographs as works of art, holding exhibitions, book launches and debates on contemporary Brazilian photography. Director and producer of Semana da Fotografia de Belo Horizonte, between 2010 and 2015. Co-founder of Núcleo Imagem Latente, which since 2004 celebrates PinholeDay in the city of Belo Horizonte / MG. Co-founder of the Forum Mineiro de Fotografia Autoral, that between 2010 and 2015 held meetings to discuss public policies focused on the Visual Arts sector in the State of Minas Gerais. National President of the Association of Photographers FOTOTECH in the period 2013/2017. Curator of the Sertão Photography Festival, an event that has taken place between 2014 and 2017 in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia.
