Giann Braune Reis

Graduated in Control and Automation Engineering from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2006), Master in Chemical Engineering in the area of ​​Chemical Process Control from the Federal University of São Carlos (2009) and D.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2014). Is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei responsible for the disciplines of Industrial Installations, Electrotechnics and also Instrumentation and Control for the Food Engineering course. Has experience in the area of ​​Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Biochemical Engineering working mainly on the following themes: distributed generation, automation and control for bioprocesses, industrial instrumentation and Control systems.

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Controle e Automação pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2006), mestrado em Engenharia Química na área de Controle de Processos Químicos pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2009) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (2014). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei responsável pelas disciplinas de Instalações Industriais, Eletrotécnica e Instrumentação e Controle para o curso de Eng. de Alimentos e Bacharelado Interdisciplinar em Biossistemas. É responsável e coordena as atividades do Laboratório de Instalações Industriais e Automação - LIIA da UFSJ no campus de Sete Lagoas. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica , Eng. Química e Eng. Bioquímica atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: geração distribuída, automação e controle para bioprocessos, instrumentação industrial e sistemas de Controle.
