Luiza Fernanda da Silva

Luiza graduated in Architecture in UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and acomplished her masters degree in NPGAU - UFMG. During the year of 2013 she was an exchange student in Urban Planning and Design, in the Faculty of Spatial Sciences in the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Since 2014 she is a member of the association Arquitetas Sem Fronteiras, working together with organized groups in favelas, urban squats, quilombos and other informal settlements.

Luiza é bacharel em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), e mestra em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pelo Núcleo de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFMG. Durante a graduação, fez intercâmbio em Planejamento Urbano na Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen, Holanda. Durante a graduação, foi bolsista PEG, PET, de Extensão e de Monitoria, envolvendo-se em diversas áreas com a comunidade acadêmica. Desde 2014 integra a Associação Arquitetos Sem Fronteiras - ASF Brasil, atuando junto a grupos organizados em favelas, Ocupações Urbanas, quilombos urbanos e outros tipos de assentamentos precários.
