Per Nielsen Kudsk

I am heading the research group Pesticide Research and Environmental Chemistry , one of 4 research groups within the Department of Integrated Pest Management. My research activities focus on weed control in arable crops. Originally I worked primarily on chemical weed control but in recent years my research activities do also include allelopathy, technologically advanced weed control methods such as the use of laser technologies and herbicide effects on non-target plants. The objective of the majority of my research activities is to contribute to the development of integrated weed management strategies. Besides my research activities I am also involved in efficacy evaluation of herbicides and plant growth regulators and in this context I am representing Denmark on the EPPO (European Plant Protection Organisation) Working Party on Plant Protection Products and the EPPO Panel on Herbicides and Plant Growth Regulators. Finally I am regularly involved in consultancy work for Danish ministries.
