Doutorado e Mestrado em Letras (Linguística) pela Universidade Federal do Pará - UFPA. Especialização em Estudos Linguísticos e Análise Literária pela Universidade do Estado do Pará - UEPA. Graduação em Letras/Inglês pelo Instituto de Ensino Superior do Amapá - IESAP e em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal do Amapá - UNIFAP. Realizou estágio pós-doutoral no Programa de Pós-graduação em Letras - PPGLET/UNIFAP. É um dos líderes do grupo de pesquisa Atlas Linguístico do Amapá - ALAP/UNIFAP. E atua como pesquisador nos grupos de pesquisa: Atlas Linguístico do Brasil - ALiB/UFBA, Geossociolinguística e Socioterminologia - GeoLinTerm/UFPA, Linguagem, Língua e Sociedade - LINLIS/UEAP e Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas Sociolinguísticas de Roraima - NEPSol/UFRR. Desenvolve pesquisas nas áreas da Dialetologia, Sociolinguística e Contato Linguístico com foco no português brasileiro e português indígena (Karipuna do Amapá). Atualmente é Professor Substituto de Linguística e Língua Portuguesa na Universidade do Estado do Amapá - UEAP e na Universidade Federal do Amapá - UNIFAP.
