Uilson Ricardo Venâncio Aires

I have a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) and a degree in Agribusiness Technology from the Technology College (FATEC). Additionally, I hold a Master's and Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), having completed part of my Ph.D. at the University of Florida (UFL) through the CAPES/PrInt program in 2019. Currently, I work as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Agricultural and Biological Engineering department at Mississippi State University (MSU). My experience includes the application of orbital remote sensing and machine learning in the management of watersheds and monitoring changes in vegetation cover.

Sou formado em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) e em Tecnologia em Agronegócio pela Faculdade de Tecnologia (FATEC). Possuo títulos de Mestre e Doutor em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), tendo realizado parte do doutorado na University of Florida (UFL) por meio do programa CAPES/PrInt em 2019. Atualmente, atuo como Postdoctoral Associate no departamento de Agricultural and Biological Engineering da Mississippi State University (MSU). Minha experiência inclui a aplicação de sensoriamento remoto orbital e machine learning na gestão de bacias hidrográficas e monitoramento das mudanças da cobertura vegetal.
