Rute Abreu

Rute Abreu is Professor in the scientific area of ​​Accounting and Finance at the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, Portugal, since 1990. She teaches Audit, Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, Firm Valuation and Social Responsibility Management. Degree in Management from the University of Beira Interior; MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal; PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Salamanca, Spain. Conducts research on the Social Responsibility Research Network with Professor David Crowther and Global Corporate Governance Institute with Professor Nick Capaldi, Samuel Idowo and Rene Schimdpeter. She publishes in journals: Corporate Governance, Revista Universo Contábil, Global Business and Economics Review, International Journal of Law and Management; International Journal of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Banking, Accounting and Finance, Social Responsibility Review, International Journal of Accounting and Management, Journal of Modern Accounting and Auditing. She participates regularly in Article Review Processes and actively collaborates in Conferences, Seminars; Promotes workshops and lectures on Fiscal Citizenship

Rute Abreu é Professora Coordenadora na área cientifica de Contabilidade e Finanças no Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, Portugal, desde 1990. Ensina Auditoria, Fundamentos de contabilidade financeira, Avaliação de Empresas e Gestão da Responsabilidade Social. Licenciada em Gestão pela Universidade da Beira Interior; Mestre em Engenharia Industrial pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal; Doutorada Contabilidade e Finanças pela Universidade de Salamanca, Spain. Desenvolve investigação na "Social Responsibility Research Network" com o Professor David Crowther e "Global Corporate Governance Institute" com Professor Nick Capaldi, Samuel Idowo e Rene Schimdpeter.
