Erlon Oliveira de Abreu Silva

Erlon Oliveira de Abreu Silva attended elementary and high school at Colégio Santa Rosa de Lima, in Lages - SC, between 1988 and 1998. In 1999 he entered the School of Medicine at the Catholic University of Pelotas, where he studied for one year. The following year, in 2000, he took a new entrance exam and was approved for graduation in Medicine by the Federal Faculty Foundation of Medical Sciences of Porto Alegre - FFFCMPA (current Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre - UFCSPA), graduating in 2005 During graduation, he served as monitor (volunteer and fellow) of the Basic and Clinical Pharmacology Discipline, was one of the founders and first Director of the FFFCMPA Hypertension League, Scientific Initiation fellow at the Institute of Cardiology of Rio Grande do Sul-University Foundation Cardiology (IC-FUC) and at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). He was a resident physician at the Internal Medicine Service of FFFCMPA / Santa Casa de Porto Alegre (2006-2008); Resident Physician in Cardiology at IC-FUC (2008-2010) and Resident Physician in Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology at the Federal University of São Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine (UNIFESP-EPM) (2010-2012), obtaining the specialist titles (CFM , SBC, SBHCI, AMB) in these areas. He was a Research Physician / Collaborator at the Hypertension Unit of the HCPA Cardiology Service (2006-2010), fellow in Cardiovascular Imaging at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA, 2011) and fellow in clinical research and coronary angiography at the Cardiovascular Research Center (CRC, 2011-2012), doctor at the ICU and preceptor of the medical residency in Intensive Care at Santa Casa de São Paulo (2012-2014), cardiologist at Hospital TotalCor (2014-2015), on duty at ICU at Hospital Santa Isabel (2013 -2015), interventional cardiologist at the Hemodynamics Service Vitta in Core - Santa Casa de Araras (2016-2017) and at the Hemodynamics Services of Hospital do Rim and Hospital Sepaco (2012-2019) and preceptor of the UNIFESP- Interventional Cardiology medical residency EPM (2012-2019), Observership in TAVR - Optimal Practices (Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA - 2019), in addition to the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR, Class of 2020). He currently develops research at the Hemodynamic Services of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE), UNIFESP-EPM, and at the Research Institute of Hospital do Coração (HCor), is a student of the Masters Program in Clinical Research (MPCR) of Dresden International University (DIU), works / is accredited (clinical / interventional cardiology) at Albert Einstein, Oswaldo Cruz, IAMSPE, HCor, Santa Catarina, Nove de Julho, Santa Catarina, Samaritano, Bandeirantes, Santa Cruz and Sepaco Hospitals, as well as a doctor at the Imed Group and reviewer of the journals Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, Brazilian Journal of Invasive Cardiology, Clinical Medicine Insights: Cardiology, Current Hypertension Reviews and European Cardiology Review. Erlon Oliveira de Abreu Silva cursou os ensinos fundamental e médio no Colégio Santa Rosa de Lima, em Lages - SC, entre 1988 e 1998. Durante a graduação atuou como monitor (voluntário e bolsista) da Disciplina de Farmacologia Básica e Clínica, foi um dos fundadores e primeiro Diretor da Liga de Hipertensão da FFFCMPA, bolsista de Iniciação Científica no Instituto de Cardiologia do Rio Grande do Sul-Fundação Universitária de Cardiologia (IC-FUC) e no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). Foi médico residente do Serviço de Medicina Interna da FFFCMPA/Santa Casa de Porto Alegre (2006-2008); Médico Residente de Cardiologia do IC-FUC (2008-2010) e Médico Residente de Hemodinâmica e Cardiologia Intervencionista da Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP-EPM) (2010-2012), obtendo os títulos de especialista (CFM, SBC, SBHCI, AMB) nestas áreas. Foi Médico Pesquisador/Colaborador da Unidade de Hipertensão Arterial do Serviço de Cardiologia do HCPA (2006-2010), fellow em Imagem Cardiovascular na Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, EUA, 2011) e fellow em pesquisa clínica e angiografia coronariana no Cardiovascular Research Center (CRC, 2011-2012), médico do CTI e preceptor da residência médica em Terapia Intensiva na Santa Casa de São Paulo (2012-2014), cardiologista do Hospital TotalCor (2014-2015), plantonista do CTI do Hospital Santa Isabel (2013-2015), hemodinamicista no Serviço de Hemodinâmica Vitta in Core - Santa Casa de Araras (2016-2017) e nos Serviços de Hemodinâmica do Hospital do Rim e Hospital Sepaco (2012-2019) e preceptor da residência médica de Cardiologia Intervencionista da UNIFESP-EPM (2012-2019), Observership em TAVR Optimal Practices (Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA, 2019), além do Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) da Harvard T.H. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisa no Instituto de Pesquisa do Hospital do Coração (HCor), é Teaching Assistant do MPCR, atua/está credenciado (cardiologia clínica/intervencionista) nos Hospitais Albert Einstein, Oswaldo Cruz, IAMSPE, HCor, Santa Catarina, Nove de Julho, Samaritano, Leforte (Liberdade) e Santa Paula, além de revisor dos periódicos Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, Revista Brasileira de Cardiologia Invasiva, Clinical Medicine Insights: Cardiology, Current Hypertension Reviews e European Cardiology Review. É, também, consultor do HCor Academy, preceptor da Residência Médica de Hemodinâmica do IAMSPE e do ambulatório de Cardiologia do curso de Medicina do Centro Universitário São Camilo, além de responsável pelo estágio dos residentes de cardiologia do HCor no IP-HCor. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Medicina Interna, Cardiologia Clínica e Intervencionista, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Cardiologia clínica e intervencionista, Hipertensão arterial, doença arterial coronariana, angiografia coronariana quantitativa, intervenção coronariana percutânea, stents, controle de fatores de risco cardiovascular, cardiopatia em pacientes renais crônicos, avaliação de risco cardíaco e manejo de pacientes graves; e na área de Pesquisa Clínica com ênfase em boas práticas clínicas, desenhos de estudos e adjudicação de eventos.
