Assistente social, Mestre e Doutora em Serviço Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1994 e 1998). Professora Associada Aposentada da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Docente permanente do quadro do PPGSS/UFRJ. Porfessora Visitante do PPGSS/UFPA e do PPDSSDR/UFF (2022). Coordena o Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre os Fundamentos do Serviço Social na Contemporaneidade- NEFSSC da UFRJ e o Projeto de Pesquisa SERVIÇO SOCIAL: FUNDAMENTOS, HISTÓRIA, MEMÓRIA, TRAJETÓRIAS (2018) Atualmente Coordena o Projeto de Pesquisa em Rede Os desafios do acesso e das intervenções profissioais nas políticas sociais diante das TIC apoiado pelo CNPq. Tem experiência na área de Serviço Social, com ênfase nos Fundamentos, trabalho e formação profissional, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: fundamentos, teoria-prática, instrumentalidade e meios tecnologicos no trabalho e nas políticas sociais, direitos sociais, requisições institucionais. Supervisora de Pós-doutorado. Participa da comissão coordenadora da Red Iberoamericana de Investigación en Trabajo Social/Rede Iberoamericana de Investigação em Serviço Social. Membro da Rede de Pesquisas sobre o Trabalho do Assistente Social-RETAS. Bolsista Produtividade em Pesquisa CNPq nível 1A. Foi Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social da UFRJ no período de 2006 a 2010. Ex-Coordenadora Nacional de Pós-Graduação da Associação Brasileira de Ensino e Pesquisa em Serviço Social- ABEPSS - gestões 2009-2010 e 2011-2012. Membro titular do Comitê de Assessoramento Psicologia-Serviço Social no CNPq no período de 2014 a 2016. Membro do GTP Serviço Social: fundamentos, formação e trabalho profissional da ABEPSS nas gestões 2013-2014, 2017-2018, 2019-2020. Membro da Comissão Ampliada do GTP Serviço Social: fundamentos, formação e trabalho profissional da ABEPSS.
