Alexander Christian Vibrans
I graduated in Forest Science (Temperate Zones) at Georg August Universität Göttingen (1987) and in Forest Science (Tropical and Subtropical Zones) also at Georg August Universität Göttingen (1987); my master's degree is in Environmental Engineering from the Regional University of Blumenau (1999) and my doctorate in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2003). I am currently a professor at the Regional University of Blumenau, in the areas of Dendrology and Forest Management. I am a researcher in the areas of Forest Inventory, Forest Ecology and Remote Sensing. I work in the Postgraduate Programs in Environmental Engineering (Master and Doctorate) and Forestry Engineering (Master), both at Regional University of Blumenau. I am coordinating the Floristic and Forest Inventory of Santa Catarina (IFFSC) since 2006. I was Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the Regional University of Blumenau from 2015 to 2019. I am associated editor of the journal Biota Neotropica, for the areas of Floristic Inventories / Phytosociology / Phytogeography, since 2018.
Possuo graduação em Ciências Florestais Zonas Temperadas - Georg August Universität Göttingen (1987) e graduação em Ciências Florestais Zonas Tropicais e Subtropicais - Georg August Universität Göttingen (1987), mestrado em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade Regional de Blumenau (1999) e doutorado em Geografia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2003). Atualmente sou professor do quadro da Universidade Regional de Blumenau, nas áreas de Dendrologia e Manejo Florestal. Sou pesquisador da área de Inventário Florestal, Ecologia Florestal e Sensoriamento Remoto. Atuo nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Ambiental (Mestrado e Doutorado) e Engenharia Florestal (Mestrado), ambos da Universidade Regional de Blumenau. Coordeno o Inventário Florístico Florestal de Santa Catarina (IFFSC) desde 2006. Fui Pro-Reitor de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação da Universidade Regional de Blumenau de 2015 a 2019. Sou editor associado da Revista Biota Neotropica, para as áreas de Inventários Florísticos/Fitossociologia/Fitogeografia desde 2018.
