Ignacio Javier Marín Blasco

PhD in Neuroscience (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2014). My research is focused on the identification, differentiation and manipulation of neuronal populations specifically recruited by different processes. Broad experience in animal behavioral models of stress, fear and aggression, molecular biology, immunodetection, microscopy, and manipulation of neuronal activity by pharmaco- and optogenetics. Expertise in the implementation, optimization of methodologies and processes. Good problem solver at different levels. Natural interpersonal and relationship building skills with aptitudes for communication and teaching.
