Giovanna de Paula Vidigal

Doutoranda em Ciências da Reabilitação pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP) e bolsista pela CAPES. Atualmente, realizando estagio no exterior (Doutorado Sanduiche) no Spaulding Neuromodulation Center, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, pela Harvard Medical School, com Prof. Felipe Fregni. Compareceu a uma visita técnica na Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) - Lausanne (2022). Mestre em Fisioterapia pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Fisioterapia da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) de Presidente Prudente/SP. Graduada em Fisioterapia pela Unesp de Marília/SP. Atualmente, membro do grupo de Pesquisa e Aplicações Tecnológicas em Reabilitação (PATER - USP), com estudos voltados para Realidade Virtual em Reabilitação para pessoas com deficiência, Estimulação Cerebral Não Invasiva e Sistema Nervoso Autônomo (por meio da Variabilidade da Frequência Cardíaca - VFC), sob orientação de Prof. Dr. Carlos Bandeira de Mello Monteiro, e do Grupo de Pesquisa Clínica Aplicada à Reabilitação e ao Exercício (GPCARE), coordenado pela Prof. Dra. Talita Dias da Silva. Durante a Iniciação Científica e Mestrado, foi membro do grupo de pesquisa CESNA (Centro de Estudos do Sistema Nervoso Autônomo) sob a orientação do Prof. Dr. Vitor Engrácia Valenti, com estudos voltados para a VFC em diferentes estímulos.

PhD student in Rehabilitation Science at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), funding scholarship (CAPES). Currently, doing an internship abroad (Sandwich Doctorate) at Spaulding Neuromodulation Center, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Harvard Medical School, with Professor Felipe Fregni. Student Representative of the Graduate Commission in Rehabilitation Sciences (FMUSP). Attended a technical visit at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) - Lausanne (2022). Master in Physiotherapy by the Graduate Program in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in Presidente Prudente/SP. Graduated in Physiotherapy from Unesp in Marília/SP. Currently, member of the Research and Technological Applications in Rehabilitation group (PATER - USP), with studies focused on Virtual Reality in Rehabilitation for people with disabilities, Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation and the Autonomic Nervous System (through Heart Rate Variability - HRV), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carlos Bandeira de Mello Monteiro, and the Clinical Research Group Applied to Rehabilitation and Exercise (GPCARE), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Talita Dias da Silva. During Scientific Initiation and Masters, it was member of the CESNA research group (Center for the Study of the Autonomous Nervous System) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vitor Engrácia Valenti, with studies focused on HRV in different stimuli.
